Outlander- my intro to fantasy and smut 13 years ago. The cruel prince- despite what people may say it’s not a romance it’s a political fantasy about a human finding her place in the fae realm. She pulls a sword he’s trapped in and he’s bound to protect her.Īn enchantment of ravens- YA more on the cozier side- stand alone. Swordheart by T kingfisher- slow burn both characters are 30+ stand alone for now. The last chapters of the first book made me hyperventilate)Īs a veteran fantasy reader here’s what I like:Ī Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. A lot more worldbuilding than those two and also feels more adult. (Set in the same universe as ACOTAR and throne of glass series. Personally Nesta and are my absolute number 1 book couple) The only proper enemies to lovers I’ve read and the only proper morally grey MMC) (Fantasy with a romance subplot, amazing FMC and a lot of political intrigue. (First two books are great, the last 3 are lackluster but since I already love the characters I will continue reading) One of my absolutely favorite Romantsy stories) Very interesting world and dramatic romance. (The prequels for the from blood and ash series, but can be read on their own in my opinion. The first book was amazing, mainly due to the tournament setting, the second book was good but not as great) (Good writing but some repetitive phrases and modern slang, I don’t mind modern slang though but I know some do. I haven’t read fourth wing yet - I’m saving it until the second book comes out as I’m a binger by nature.
